Energy Performance Certificates
We can provide domestic Energy Performance Certificates for all your properties for sale or for rent. Rely on us to provide the reports in a timely fashion and with any advice needed. We provide EPCs as a standalone service if required and we would be happy to discuss any needs you may have.
What Are EPC's?
In short, an Energy Performance Certificate or “EPC” shows information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs. It will also provide recommendations about how to reduce energy use to save money and become more efficient in the future.
An EPC is needed whenever a property is built, sold or rented. Whether you are a landlord or a seller, you are required to have an EPC ordered (and available within 28 days) for your property for potential buyers or tenants before you start marketing.
The report is required to be carried out by an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor. Our assessor will provide an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and is valid for ten years from the point of issue.
